The idea of The Venturians was originally conceived by Managing Director Anirban Ash, in 2011, while studying MSc Advanced Marketing Management at Lancaster University. He continued to develop the concept while working with UBS Investment Bank (London), but could not find the ideal partner to commercialize the idea. He needed somebody with the same enthusiasm and energy, who had the experience and perspective to complement him. During the final year of his doctoral studies, at the Chair of the Center for Advanced Studies in Management (CASiM), in HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, Ash was determined to take the plunge again in 2016.

700 km north of Leipzig, in Odense, Jesper Brøns-Poulsen, an industry veteran was searching for innovative ideas. He was willing to engage in ventures bound to generate added value, both from a business and a social perspective. As an experienced entrepreneur and a successful marketer, Jesper supplies a sound basis for evaluating ideas, especially in the cross field of technology and business.

The two met through a common acquaintance in the autumn of 2016. Jesper was intrigued by Ash’s pitch which saw them embark on a new and exciting journey with a vision to change the lives of millions – by means of simple ideas.

They named the first idea Venture2016. After 6 months of elaborate conversations and brainstorming sessions on market research, analysis and strategizing, it was time to take the next step of founding the company. The enthusiasm of these two professionals was realized by Invest in Denmark, an office under The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Denmark, which provided extremely valuable advice throughout the period of establishing the company. The office also assisted in granting access to their network of investors.

The journey of The Venturians ApS began just north of Copenhagen in Fredensborg on March 8th, 2017.

On 11th October 2018, The Venturians ApS Betriebsstätte was established in Leipzig Germany.
