Prof. Stephan Henneberg comes from a consultancy background. He has held very senior positions as management and strategy consultant, with A.T. Kearney and McKinsey & Co. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge and served as the Division Head (Associate Dean) at Manchester Business School. At present, he is the Chair Professor of Marketing and Strategy at Queen Mary University of London, and Director of the Business Ecosystems Research Group.
Prof. Henneberg is also Visiting Professor of Marketing and Strategy at the University of Bamberg (Germany), Stellenbosch University (South Africa) and Visiting Scholar at the Culverhouse College of Commerce, University of Alabama (USA), and has held Visiting Professorships at the University of Bayreuth (Germany), at Kedge Business School, Marseilles-Bordeaux (France), and at the University of Mainz (Germany).
He has over 100 publications in top international journals. In 2015, the German trade journal Handelsblatt ranked Prof. Henneberg as the 57th strongest research scholar in management studies, based on the last 5-year research output.
